Quality inspectors in China have launched an investigation after receiving complaints from owners of Volkswagen Sagitar models over broken rear suspension control arms. The Sagitar is the local version of the Jetta built by joint venture company FAW-Volkswagen.

Sagitar owners made 216 complaints about the problem in the two weeks to August 12, about half the 435 complaints posted on China’s national defective information collection system during the period.
