Dongfeng Motor Company’s Nissan JV has begun a national recall of 5,014 Sunny sedans due to suspension flaws.
The recalled cars were made between 9 February and 30 September 2006, according to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ), China Daily Information Company, reported.
Dongfeng told GAQSIQ it would repair all defective vehicles to eliminate risks as the suspension parts may separate due to welding flaws, which may lead to wheel flutter and tyre abrasion.
Dongfeng Nissan outlets would notify customers of the recall through mail or phone calls.
The JV was established in 2003.
