Dongfeng Nissan Auto Sales Company, a joint venture between Nissan Motor and Chian’s Dongfeng Motor, has been fined a total of CNY123m (US$19.3) by Chinese regulators for braking the country’s anti-monopoly laws.

The price-fixing charges were brought against the company by the Guangdong provincial authorities and are part of a broader industry-wide investigation into corporate practices that has seen high-profile names such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Chrysler also found guilty of similar offences.
