Dongfeng Nissan has reduced the prices of three models, the official Shanghai Securities News reported, citing sources from the Sino-Japanese joint venture.

Prices for the three models – the Teana midsize, the Tiida compact and the Sylphy luxury sedan – were reduced by up to 23,000 yuan per unit. The report did not provide details, XFN-Asia said.


The venture is targeting sales of 300,000 vehicles in China this year, the newspaper reported.


A number of car makers have slashed prices in China in recent months, citing growing competition.
