It moved 72,483 vehicles in January, down from 89,994 units a year earlier, it said in a statement cited by Reuters.
Sales of passenger cars slipped 3.10% to 62,560 units, while the company’s commercial vehicle sales fell 60.99% to 9,923 units.
Dongfeng has a variety of car manufacturing ventures with PSA Peugeot-Citroen and Honda Motor and also makes cars and commercial vehicles with Nissan Motor.
