Daimler is recalling 9,201 Mercedes-Benz Vito and Viano van models in China, state news agency Xinhua reported, citing China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
The recall is to repair flaws in the vehicles’ air-conditioning systems that could trigger short circuits and then create smoke or fire hazards, Dow Jones said.
