Changhe Suzuki has introduced two new models in China. The Ideal II is a revamp of the Bertone-designed, Suzuki-based minicar that was first introduced in 2003.

Bertone has updated the design with some exterior changes including new headlamps. In addition the car is slightly larger. A new 1.4 litre 16V engine has been added to the line-up.
The Friend is a new minivan that Changhe–Suzuki owns all the intellectual property rights to. It is 3.9m long but still manages to accommodate three rows of seats.
The Friend is offered with new 1.1 and 1.3 litre engines, couple to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Changhe Suzuki is 45.4% owned by Suzuki and is in the process of boosting capacity from 100,000 units a year to 160,000 units.
