Expansion at Changan Ford Mazda’s engine plant in southwest China’s Chongqing municipality has received approval from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
The expansion will allow production of EcoBoost engines together with several other advanced technologies. These will combine to lower the carbon dioxide emissions of the new engines by 15%.
