Shanghai General Motors is recalling 207,766 Buick LaCrosse models because of possible brake hose defects.
The recall, which begins on 15 June, involves LaCrosse models produced between 11 January, 2006 and 1 September, 2009, according to China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
SGM said the defect could cause brake fluid leaks, which in some cases may lead to decreased braking efficiency. The defective brake hoses will be changed free of charge.
