The problem may make braking difficult and had caused three minor accidents so far, none of which caused any injury, GM’s Shanghai venture said in a statement cited by Reuters, which noted the repair takes 10 minutes.
The recall affects 27,168 Buick Regal two-litre cars made between December 17, 2002, and September 28, 2004, and involves a vacuum hose which can become disconnected, requiring increased effort from the driver when applying the brakes.
