Beijing Hyundai sold 75,568 motor vehicles in July, up 25.5% year on year.

In the first seven months of 2013, the automaker’s sales totaled 585,800 units, making it steadily on track to fulfill its annual sales target of 1m units, the Xinhua news agency reported.

The automaker said it was considering a fourth car plant in China, which would take total capacity to 1.4m units by 2015 from 1m after the third plant opened.

Beijing Hyundai is a joint venture between Beijing Automotive Industry Holding (BAIC) and Hyundai Motor.

BAIC also has a Beijing Benz JV with Daimler.
