Passenger vehicle sales in China last month dipped 6.24% year on year to 451,300 units, an industry group has reported.

But sales for the January-August period this year rose 13.15% year on year to 4.55m units.
The August sales were also down 7.56% from a month earlier, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said in a statement cited by Dow Jones.
