In a live television interview from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Ford CEO Alan Mulally has told the FOX Business Network’s (FBN) Liz Claman the company will reveal the ‘Ford Focus Electric’ tomorrow (January 7) for the first time.

Mulally said the Focus will be available this year and is “a completely electric vehicle made in America” and that the company is “fighting for the soul of manufacturing the United States” in an effort to help revive the country’s economy.

Mulally also said that the electric Focus vehicle will be competitively priced. “It will be very competitive because of our scale. We haven’t announced the numbers but this vehicle is off the new C1 platform.”
