Volkswagen Canada’s year to date sales totalled 37,010 which surpassed last year’s figure by 1739 new units or 4.9%.
October Passat sales increased by 13.2% compared to October 1999. Year to date sales are up 9.8% from 3,639 new units sold to 3,997.

The Volkswagen Golf continued to perform well in October with a total of 786 new units sold, translating into an increase of 20.4% over October 1999.
GTI sales also increased this month by 19.7%, adding to year to date sales of 904 new units sold.
The Jetta continues to be the top selling Volkswagen in Canada with year to date sales of 19,391 new units, an increase of 3,010 units or 18.4% over the year to date figures of October 1999.
