The distribution agreement was accompanied by an initial order. Chicago-based Nichols Motorcycle Supply was established in 1948 and is said to have built a reputation for delivering innovative new products to the motorcycle industry.
The distribution agreement follows the successful launch of the tyre pressure monitor system at a motorcycle dealer show in Indianapolis.
The SmarTire system displays each tyre’s pressure, temperature and pressure deviation at the press of a button. If the system detects a loss of air pressure or abnormally high tyre temperature, a bright warning light automatically alerts the rider.
