Pacific Insight Electronics has been selected by Peterson Manufacturing Company as the sole supplier of the electronics for a revolutionary new LED lamp used in the heavy truck & trailer industry. Sales for this lamp are expected to exceed over 1,000,000 units in the first year of production.
Pacific Insight began working with Peterson in 1994, designing a line of advanced vehicle lighting using Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) as a light source instead of standard incandescent bulbs. LEDs offer lower power consumption, low heat and extremely long life, often outliving the vehicle itself.
Since 1994, Peterson has introduced over 75 models which have generated sales of over $2.9 million to Pacific Insight in the past 12 months. This new contract will double Pacific Insight’s sales to Peterson in the next 12 months.
