Martinrea International has received a contract from General Motors to produce front-engine cradle and rear-cross member assemblies, with design responsibility, on a global basis.
The value of the contract wasn’t disclosed, a Dow-Jones Newswires report said.
In a news release cited by the news agency, Martinrea said that, under the contract, it will also work on the engineering of the global platform.
Martinrea makes metal parts, assemblies and modules and fluid management systems for the automotive sector.
