CANADA: Details sketchy on new module assembly and sequence deal
Automodular Corp. has won a new contract to sub-assemble and sequence automotive modules for a North American original equipment manufacturer, beginning in October 2006 but is not giving more details until the manufacturer announces the programme.
Automodular Corp. has won a new contract to sub-assemble and sequence automotive modules for a North American original equipment manufacturer, beginning in October 2006 but is not giving more details until the manufacturer announces the programme.
A Dow Jones report said the contract will fill the remaining space in Automodular’s new plant under construction in Oakville, Ontario, and add about 80 new jobs at the plant now expected to employ more than 400.
