BYD has said it will showcase a range of models at next month’s Paris Auto Show, including its luxury technological demonstrator, the Yangwang U8.
The Yangweng U8 is described by BYD as a ‘hardcore new energy off-road SUV’ which ‘combines all the technologies of the BYD group and can overcome any obstacle in its path’.

It is the first production model of the Yangwang brand and sells in China with a RMB 1 million price tag. It is over 5 meters long and 2 meters wide and adopts the design language of ‘Time Gate’, a ‘hallmark of the Yangwang brand’. BYD says its design combines futuristic elements with hardcore styling.
This will be BYD’s second appearance at the Paris Motor Show. The brand successfully met the Parisian public in 2022, when it began its roll-out across Europe.
