Bulgarian Ford distributor Moto Pfohe sold 1,405 cars in the January to April 2006 period, ranking first with a market share of 11.82%, data from the Union of Car Importers in Bulgaria showed, according to local news agency reports.
Displaced recent leader and Peugeot distributor Sofia France Auto was second with 1,307 units in the first four months of 2006 and a market share of 11%.
Opel, with eight dealers, ranked third with car sales of 1,104 Toyota distributor TM Auto, followed closely with 1,097 cars sold for January to April 2006.
Skoda and Citroen sold 891 and 863 cars respectively ranking fifth and sixth.
Distributors sold 11,884 cars, 369 trucks, 11 buses and 72 motorcycles for January to April 2006, up nearly 28% year-on-year.
