Scania has said that it will reduce its workforce by 70 at its factory in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. The company blames a deterioration in market conditions for the move. Scania's losses in Latin America amounted to SEK58m in the first quarter of 2002, against SEK36m in the same period of last year.
