Iochpe Maxion has promoted Pieter Klinkers to CEO of Maxion Wheels, effective 1 March, 2015.

Klinkers has a successful history of 20 years in wheels and tyres, working for the Michelin Group before joining Maxion in 2005 as vice president of sales for Europe, Africa & Asia Pacific (EAAP). He was promoted to president in 2009 and has successfully increased sales and profits in the region.

He took further responsibilities in 2013, heading innovation efforts following the purchase of Hayes Lemmerz in early 2012.

Though Iochpe Maxion is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Klinkers will operate from the holding company in Konigswinter, Germany.

Maxion Wheels produces wheels for passenger cars, light trucks and commercial trucks and trailers plus steel wheels for other applications.
