BRAZIL: Honda plans to double sales in Brazil in 2003
According to a Bloomberg report, Honda plans to double its vehicle sales in Brazil next year. The report suggests that Honda's market assault will be spearheaded by its Fit (Jazz) supermini model which will be made in Brazil. Koichi Kondo, president of Honda do Brasil, was reported by Bloomberg to have said that Honda expects to sell 40,000 vehicles next year in Brazil, 20,000 units of which will be Fits.
