Ford’s
Brazilian subsidiary yesterday began recalling almost 6,000 Focus sedans and
hatchbacks because of problems with their seat belts, Associated Press (AP)
reported.

According to AP, Ford said that the seat belts of 5,789 vehicles had “a
bit more slack than permitted” but there was no risk that the seat belts
could tear.
