Brazil’s auto parts industry is on its way to investing $1 billion in 2005 as originally planned at the start of the year, according to the local union representing the sector, known as Sindipeças, business daily Valor Econômico reports.
The figure means a 60% increase from what was invested in 2004.
The investments come in the wake of strong domestic sales.
