Bosch has opened an engineering centre in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
According to seenews.com, the new centre will employ about 200 people who will be developing software for the automotive industry.
"This investment is part of the dynamic development of Bosch's software business in Bulgaria," Konstantin Konov, managing director of the new centre, said.
The Sofia centre will work in close cooperation with other Bosch engineering centres in Hungary and Romania, as well as with automotive companies.
Bulgaria's government said on Tuesday that Bosch's new engineering centre would employ over 500 people by 2023.
In 2018, Bosch grew its sales in Bulgaria by 19% to EUR104m (US$114.3m).
