Supplier Bosch has inaugurated the new headquarters of its engineering centre in Cluj-Napoca, central Romania.

The investment in the new centre was EUR30m, romania-insider.com reported.

The new building has a total built area of 17,500 square metres with over 10,000 square metres of modern and customised office space, and houses 500 employees who have the use of a medical centre, canteen, and gym.

“Bosch continues to see considerable potential in Romania,” said Romania CEO Mihai Boldijar.

“The inauguration of the new headquarters of the engineering centre in Cluj underlines our commitment to the country.”

The centre develops software, hardware, reliability, and mechanical engineering products.

Engineers work on technology for autonomous, connected driving, Internet of Things, and electric vehicles.
