BMW Group has reported record sales for November with volume up 4.9% year on year to 197,480 vehicles. Year to date (YTD) sales rose 6.9% to a record 2,033,948 as the automaker, for the first time, shifted over 2m vehicles by the end of November.
BMW brand November sales were 5.6% higher at 167,853. YTD, brand sales rose 5.8% to 1,728,553.

November was also a record month for Mini though sales inched up less than 1% to 29,271 last month. YTD volume rose 13.8% to 302,091.
Europe deliveries were up 9.7% YTD to 902,223 with Americas sales up 5.3% to 447,445.
Asia region volume rose 4.5% to 621,671.
"The steady sales growth we've shown throughout the year so far reflects the great new products we currently have on the market," said Ian Robertson, BMW's sales and marketing head. "We are seeing a very positive customer response to a wide range of products, resulting in sustained sales momentum."
