While European sales rose 4%, deliveries slipped 4.6% in the US and dropped sharply by 15.9% in China.

Battery electric vehicle (BEV) deliveries fell 10.5% during the quarter, the company said.

Jochen Goller, member of the Board of Management of BMW responsible for customer, brands, sales, said:

“In 2025, in a challenging environment, the BMW Group sold more vehicles than in the previous year.

“Our electrified vehicles were in particularly high demand. Europe reported especially strong growth, with battery-electric vehicles accounting for about a quarter of total sales, and BEVs and PHEVs combined reaching a share of over 40% across the region. We remain fully on track to meet our EU CO₂ fleet target for 2025.”

For the full year 2025, the group delivered 2,463,715 vehicles worldwide, a 0.5% increase from 2024.

Electrified vehicle sales reached 642,087 units, up 8.3% year on year, while fully electric models accounted for 442,072 deliveries, representing growth of 3.6%.

Electrified vehicles made up 26% of total group sales, with BEVs contributing around 18%.

BMW brand deliveries totalled 2,169,761 vehicles in 2025, down 1.4% from a year earlier.

The company said gains in Europe, the Americas and parts of Asia helped offset weaker demand in China.

The MINI brand recorded global deliveries of 288,290 vehicles, an increase of 17.7%, with fully electric models accounting for more than one-third of sales.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars delivered 5,664 vehicles during the year, a marginal decline of 0.8%, while BMW Motorrad sold 202,563 motorcycles and scooters, down 3.7%.

By region, combined BMW and MINI deliveries in Europe rose 7.3% in 2025, including an 8.7% increase in Germany.

Sales in the Americas grew 5.7%, with the US up 5.0%. In Asia, deliveries fell 9.3%, driven by a 12.5% decline in China.
