
Blink, WirelessCar, and ChargeHub have entered a partnership to launch a Seamless Charging’ pilot programme across North America, aiming to revolutionise the electric vehicle (EV) charging experience.
This initiative seeks to make the process faster, easier, and more accessible for drivers, addressing the complications associated with the current multiple app and account systems.
The ‘Seamless Charging’ pilot is set to eliminate common barriers to EV charging by offering a simple, single-app registration.
Blink president and CEO said Mike Battaglia said: “We’re thrilled to collaborate with WirelessCar and ChargeHub to bring the innovative ‘Seamless Charging’ pilot concept to North America. This project is about improving accessibility and convenience for EV drivers, ensuring a smooth transition to electric mobility.”
EV drivers can now plug into Blink chargers without the hassle of logging into multiple apps or managing various accounts.
After a one-time registration with the ChargeHub app and activation of Seamless Charging, drivers can simply plug in at any Blink Charging Station and leave, enhancing the convenience of using EVs.

Utilising data shared by the vehicle and charging provider, the system notifies drivers when charging begins automatically, without the need for cards, apps, or additional steps.
