Axalta Coating Systems has opened its expanded Technology Centre, Savli, in Vadodara in the Indian State of Gujarat.
The Technology Centre includes an automotive coatings development and colour laboratories. The coatings laboratory will focus on developing paint formulations to ensure colour match, aesthetics and quality.

The new laboratory space will feature robotic spray applicators which can simulate line application conditions inside customer manufacturing plants, to facilitate the development, approval, quality control, and customer line support required by auto-OEM customers.
Additional capabilities at the facility also include colour measurement tools and accelerated paint testing equipment.

Axalta established its India business in 1996 and today operates a manufacturing plant in Vadodara within the state of Gujarat along with offices and regional training centres in Gurugram, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Vadodara.
