Avtovaz and Yandex LLC have concluded a Memorandum of Intent and will jointly develop multimedia systems of a new generation, including information and entertainment and navigation services. The document was signed by the president of PJSC Avtovaz Nicolas Maure and the director general of Yandex LLC Alexander Shulgin in Moscow, within the framework of the Russian Automobile Forum 2017.
The Memorandum includes the following areas of cooperation: telematics services, connected cars (Connected Car – a car connected to the network) and multimedia systems.

Yandex plans to participate in creating the multimedia system of Avtovaz at the level of adaptation of its services. Avtovaz, in its turn, plans to install multimedia systems with Yandex services on the main part of LADA cars produced.
At the moment, LADA continues to develop LADA Connect telematics platform, connecting the car, user devices, infotainment and navigation services into a single multimedia space. The joint work of Avtovaz and Yandex will accelerate the development of LADA Connect`s user experience and customer-focused service, which will bring driver and passengers` communication with a car to a new level.
