Avtovaz has unveiled a raft of new appointments effective 1 November.

Mikhail Ryabov, general director of Lada Izhevsk automobile plant is appointed PJSC Avtovaz VP Car Production. Nikolay Strokov, vice-president for car production at Avtovaz, has taken over as vice-president Production of automotive components at Avtovaz.

Denis Nosov, director of production of plastic products (PPI) of Avtovaz in Togliatti, has taken up the position as general director of Lada Izhevsk automobile plant.

Avtovaz automotive components production VP, Sergey Urypuin is leaving the company to join another Russian automotive company, although there were no immediate details as to which one.

“Transition of managers and new challenges provide professional and personal growth for every of them,” said AvtoVAZ president, Yves Caracatzanis.

“It strengthens horizontal ties within the company, needed for effective operation and operative decision-making.”

Last week (23 October), AvtoVAZ posted consolidated revenue of RUB198.7bn (US$3.04bn), a 25.4% increase compared to the previous year.
