Autoliv announced Dan Garceau was resigning as president of Autoliv Americas to take up another post outside the company.

Garceau has been president of the unit since September 2014 and will leave no later than 10 August, 2020.

The company has started a search for Garceau's replacement. 

Garceau's LinkedIn account shows he started at Autoliv in Ogden, Utah, in 2001 as operations manager of an airbag assembly unit, followed by posts in France and Indiana.

He next worked about two and a half years at Danaher, a test and measurement equipment supplier, before returning to Autoliv in a variety of manufacturing, operations, VP and president posts.
