
Magna International is declining to comment on reports it is in negotiations to sell its interior operation to Grupo Antolin.
Speculation is centering on a deal being possibly reached as early as next month, although whether the sale would be for all or part of the interior business, is not yet clear.
“We do not comment on this,” a Magna spokesman confined himself to noting to just-auto, while Grupo Antolin in Madrid said: “We are not going to comment on any market rumour.
“We never comment on market rumours.”
Grupo Antolin is the largest Spanish manufacturer of vehicle interior components and number one worldwide supplier of headliner substrates.
