Operating via the MyLink infotainment system, drivers with a compatible Apple iPhone running iOS6 can direct virtual assistant Siri to perform a number of tasks.

The eyes free integration keeps the device’s screen from lighting up, avoiding distraction. The iPhone is paired to the MyLink radio via Bluetooth and the steering wheel voice activation button wakes Siri up for tasks like voice-activated, hands-free calls to contacts on the phone, listen to, compose and send iMessages or text messages to a phone number or a saved contacts and access the calendar to add appointments.
Initially launched with the Stitcher embedded app, additional functionality is now available on with the MyLink system. This includes embedded apps for full compatibility for Pandora internet radio, BringGo navigation and TuneIn radio.
The Pandora, Stitcher, BringGo and TuneIn apps are available for download from the Australian iTunes store and Google Play (Android) stores. BringGo is available for a 30 day trial at A$0.99 (US$1.03) and the full version with map updates costs A$59.99.
