Mazda has recalled about 80,000 vehicles fitted with Takata airbags in Australia.

The recall includes B-Series pickups, T-Series cab-chassis, E-Series vans, RX-8 and 6 models sold between August 2002 and November 2007, as well as 6 models sold between July 2005 and March 2009.

Honda has expanded the Takata airbag recall to include 2001-2006 Accord and 2003-2006 MDX models, The Motor Report said.

Nissan has included 98,915 vehicles manufactured between January 2004 and March 2007 and 16,092 vehicles produced between April 2003 and December 2003 in the recall. The models covered under the recall include the T30 X-Trail, J31 Maxima, D22 Navara, Y61 Patrol and N16 Pulsar.

Additionally, Chrysler has recalled 300 vehicles built between 2005 and 2010 for the same reason.

Chrysler has also recalled the Grand Voyager over an ignition switch issue. While driving, the switch may unknowingly shift to ‘accessories’, shutting down the engine. The recall covers models built between 2008 and 2010.

Dodge has recalled the 2009 and 2010 Journey for the same reason.

Both brands had announced recalls earlier for similar issues. Vehicles that had been checked in the previous recall will have to be repaired again.

Toyota’s Lexus has recalled the NX200t made between December 2014 and February 2015 to check anti-lock brakes because the actuator may have been damaged during assembly.

Jeep has recalled 2006 Wrangler and Cherokee models with manual transmission. The clutch mechanism may contain a worn-out return spring which would allow the engine to be started without the pedal depressed.

Smart has recalled the ForTwo to check bolts used to secure the steering rack to the vehicle which might break in certain circumstances. The recall is for only 26 units of a model sold between January and August 2014.

Subaru has recalled 2015 Outback and Liberty models with adaptive cruise control (ACC) and pre-collision braking (PCB). Due to a software issue, may not be applied when ACC is active and PCB performance might be affected by brake lamp switch failure.
