The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.05% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 6.87% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.04% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Tesla IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Tesla, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 64.29% in November 2022, and a 20.9% rise over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 19.05% in November 2022, and registered growth of 4.35%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.14% in November 2022, a 50% drop from October 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Tesla
North America emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 79.37% share, which marked an 8.7% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 15.08%, registering a 58.33% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 5.56% share and a 22.22% drop over October 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 78.57% share in November 2022, an 8.79% growth over October 2022. Germany featured next with a 7.94% share, up 42.86% over the previous month. Netherlands recorded a 5.56% share, an increase of 133.33% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Tesla IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.49%, up by 35.59% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 23.81% share, a decline of 21.05% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.7% share, up 23.08% over October 2022.
