The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 14.92% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 22.73% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 1.21% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 51.92% in November 2022, registering a 74.53% decline over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 17.31% share, a flat growth over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 17.31%, registering a 10% decline from October 2022.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 13.46%, down 41.67% over the previous month.

Top five auto companies in Romania’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 48.61% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry during November 2022 over October 2022.

Faurecia posted 13 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 8.33% over the previous month, followed by Porsche Automobil Holding with 10 jobs and a 41.18% drop. Continental with 7 IT jobs and Compagnie Generale des Etablissements Michelin with 4 jobs, recorded an 82.5% decline and a 300% growth, respectively, while Schaeffler recorded an increase of 50% with 3 job postings during November 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.85%, down by 57.73% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 17.31% share, registered a decline of 74.29% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 3.85% share, down 66.67% over October 2022.
