Poland’s auto industry registered a 7.6% drop in IT hiring activity in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 14.52% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 25.26% share in April 2022, recording an increase of 0.39% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 72.55% in April 2022, registering a 41.27% decline over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 7.84% share, an increase of 33.33% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.84%, registering a 42.86% decline from March 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.88%, down 40% over the previous month.

Top five auto companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 31.43% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s auto industry during April 2022 over March 2022.

Aptiv posted 26 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a rise of 36.84% over the previous month, followed by Robert Bosch with 9 jobs and a 73.53% drop. AB Volvo with 9 IT jobs and Lear with 2 jobs, recorded a 43.75% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Tenneco recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during April 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.47%, down by 27.78% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.69% share, registered a decline of 52.94% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 7.84% share, down 69.23% over March 2022.
