McLaren Automotive and speaker specialist Bowers & Wilkins have announced a long-term, multi-year supply deal that may extend beyond car systems.
B&W has developed audio systems for the brand’s cars since 2015.

Its R&D centre is close to McLaren HQ in the UK.
Claimed pioneering advances include subwoofers being integrated into cars’ carbon fibre monocoque, ensuring a stiff mounting surface which enables better sound.
The two companies will also “explore” portable and home audio collaborations.
“We have enjoyed a great relationship through engineering and product development for over six years,” said Dave Sheen, SVP of licensing and partnerships, Sound United.
