Tata Motors has renamed the small-hatchback-originally-to-be-called-Zica following a social media quest for a new nameplate that could not be easily linked to the current Zika virus epidemic.
The automaker postponed the launch in India, originally scheduled for the end of January, and, via social media, invited suggestions for a new name.

India media reports said three names were short-listed from 37,000 suggestions – Civet, Adore and Tiago.
Tata chose Tiago.
