The factory-installed CD-6 sound system pumps nearly 500 watts of power specifically equalised to the Focus interior with the patented MACH DSP EQ tool — said to create sound clarity and richness rivaling an in-home entertainment system.
Three amplifiers, one ten-inch subwoofer and four MACH ND7 two-way speakers are standard.
The limited edition car includes MACH badging on the radio and the instrument panel. Door trim, seat fabric, floor console, cluster and instrument panel — all manufactured and designed by Visteon — provide design elements that are attractive, sleek and ergonomically comfortable.
Visteon supplies more than 30 major systems on the 2002 Focus MACH Audio, including exterior lighting, instrument panel, console and cluster, climate control, glass, bumpers, audio, brakes and powertrain components. Together, these systems account for approximately 30% of the car’s total content.
