Ford expects to post losses in Brazil for the next two years due to high operational costs, according to its Director Martin Inglis.
The company however plans to resume profits at its new Bahia state plant, where Ford is to receive incentives from the state government. Ford is investing R$1.3bil in the new site, which will become operational in 2002.
