FCA’s Jeep brand booked sales of over 1m units worldwide in 2014, a record for the third consecutive year.
Sales rose 39% year on year to 1,017,019 vehicles.

“While achieving 1m vehicle sales in 2014 was certainly a milestone, 2015 will be a transformational year in the globalisation of the brand as we begin local manufacturing in Brazil and return to local manufacturing in China after an absence of nearly a decade.”
Sales in the US rose 41% to a record 692,348.
European sales were up 40% and Asia-Pacific volume 42% in 2014. Chinese sales rose 49%.
Grand Cherokee was the most popular model (279,567 global; 183,786 US) followed by the Cherokee (236,289 global; 178,508 US), Wrangler (234,579 global; 175,328 US), Compass (134,629 global; 61,264 US), and Patriot (122,387 global; 93,462 US).
