Ford’s product development chief Raj Nair has said the launch of the new, aluminum-body F-150 pickup truck is on schedule and the vehicles are selling in an average of five days after reaching dealer showrooms.
According to Reuters, Nair spoke to investors at a conference on the sidelines of the Detroit show and also said plans to launch the new F-150 at a second US factory later this year are also on schedule.
