“We’re up and running today,” spokesman Ed Lewis told the news agency, adding: “We had an orderly transition back to power over the weekend.”

The plant, which has its own power supply, shut down operations on Wednesday ahead of Hurricane Isabel, Dow Jones noted.

“We had a few shingles off of a couple of our buildings, but other than that, we came through unscathed,” Lewis reportedly said.

According to Dow Jones, many of the Norfolk plant’s 2,100 employees, however, still didn’t have power at home on Monday, and several schools in the region remain closed.
