The company has designed and developed the car at its R&D centre in Chennai, The Times of India said, citing a top official.
Renault Nissan Alliance CEO and chairman Carlos Ghosn said the car will first be launched in India, thereafter it will be introduced in other markets in Asia, Africa and South America.
