"Due to the market situation and decline in demand overseas", Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has decided to halt production on seven production lines in five Japanese plants starting from 3 April.

The suspension period varies by plant and production line.

  • Hino, Hamura Plant, #1 production line
  • 2 operating days from 3-6 April

Plants and production lines other than stated will remain in operation as usual, TMC said in a statement.
