Mitsubishi Motors Corporation said it would temporarily suspend production of kei cars in Japan.
It said it was "considering the impact on the parts supply chain due to the global expansion of COVID-19 coronavirus".
Its first production line for kei cars at its Mizushima plant in Okayama, Japan would halt from today, 27 March to 10 April.
